Toronto’s East End Danforth 2012 Monthly Resale Housing Statistical Review

Another year has past, and it seems that resale housing prices in this Toronto East neighbourhood continue to hold their value.   Here is a quick look at what 2012 was like in East End Danforth or what some call The Upper Beaches:

  • May was the most active month for sales with 32 while December had only 6 days
  • December brought some sellers the gift of the highest monthly average sold price but it should be noted December also had the 2nd highest price sold of the year
  • February saw the lowest days on market of 6 days with June a close second with 7 days
  • December had the highest average days on market with 31 days
  • From February to June seemed the best time to sell with low days on market and getting the highest average to list price
  • For those looking to buy August and December showed the lowest average to list price
