Toronto’s Birchcliff/Cliffside 2012 Monthly Resale Housing Review

Another year has past and it seems that resale housing prices in this Toronto East neighbourhood continue to hold their value.   Here is a quick look at what 2012 was like:

  • May was the most active month for sellers with 48 homes sold and December  the least active
  • February  had the highest average sold price and also the highest single sold price of $2,775,000
  • February, April and September all shared the lowest average days on market with 12 days
  • December had the highest average days on market with 36 days
  • The first 4 months of the year seemed to be the best time to sell with homes getting the highest average over list price
  • August, September December were the best time to buy with the lowest average to list price
