South Riverdale 2013 3rd Quarter Housing Statistics

South Riverdale continues to be a high demand neighbourhood.  It certainly has a considerable  affordability factor compared to those homes selling in North Riverdale.  Take these as a comparison  from the 2013 3rd quarter results:

  • Detached home average price in North Riverdale $1,309,000 the same in South Riverdale $715,000
  • Semi-detached home average price North Riverdale $779,000 its counter part in South Riverdale $595,000

There is certainly a lot of investment being poured into the neighbourhood.  Private condominium developers are heavily investing in this area, as well as government funds required for building the necessary infrastructure needed for the upcoming 2015 Pan Am Games.  What’s happening are home buyers are looking at Toronto east as much more affordable than other areas of the city.

With its easy access to the city core, South Riverdale will continue to increase its property values.
