Birchcliff – Cliffside 4th Quarter 2012 Housing Statistics

The Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) has released their housing statistics for the last quarter of 2012.    We all remember the media reports outlining how listings were down which was reflected in the low number of sold properties.   The curious thing, it seems that house prices did not fall but remained stable.

This is one the reports I like as it outlines house prices as they relate to Birchcliff – Cliffside housing styles.   The primary housing style in this neighbourhood are detached homes and its proximity to Toronto’s Beach community certainly keeps up.  You are also seeing builders seeing the value of the area in purchasing homes, then either putting in a second floor or tearing them down and building new construction.
